Just recently declared by Governor Terry Branstad, June 9-16th is Iowa Museum Week. Stop by our local museums and show them some support. During this week, Heartland Acres will be offering discounts off of their regular price admission; $2 off for adults and $1 off for children

Dig Into Pastels

Dig into Art as part of the IPL Summer Reading Program. Children in grades 1-3 are eligible for the first session, Dig Into Pastels, at 9:30am. The class for those in grades 4-6 begins at 11am. What's Cooking?

Independence Jr. Golf Camp

June-12-15 @ River Ridge Golf Course. Ages 5-9: Wed-Fri: 4:00-5:30pm, Sat: 9am-10:30am. Ages 10-14: Wed-Fri: 5:30pm-7:30pm, Sat: 10:30-12:30pm. Cost is $75 per student.
