  On June 20th, a Tractor Ride will be coming through Independence.  They will be making a stop at Heartland Acres for a short while.  The proceeds from this ride will go to the Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines.  The Ride is open to the public, anyone wanting to join in is welcome to do so.   The Buchanan County Health Center Wellness Department will hold a Babysitting Clinic on Wednesday, June 20, from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $20. Class size is limited. Must be 11 or older to participate. To register: 319-332-0850.
