The blood drive will take place on Tuesday, June 18^th from noon to 5:30 p.m. in the studio at the Therapy & Wellness Center, located at the Buchanan County Health Center.     Kathy’s Kakes, Make n Take and Kathy’s (Cup)Kakes. As part of the Summer Reading Program at the Independence Public Library, kids can enjoy making a summer craft and then decorating a delicious cookie with Kathy’s Kakes to take home or eat. Stop by between 9:30 and 10:30. Registration is not required this year. Teens can also decorate a Kathy’s Kakes cupcake at 11:00 am.
