    On June 20th, a Tractor Ride will be coming through Independence.  They will be making a stop at Heartland Acres for a short while.  The proceeds from this ride will go to the Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines.  The Ride is open to the public, anyone wanting to join in is welcome to do so.
