    Memorial Day Services are planned throughout the county.  8am-Ceremonies at Rowley Cemetery and Otterville Cemetery.  8:30am-Ceremonies at the MHI Cemetery and St. John's Cemetery.  9am-Ceremonies at Mount Hope Cemetery and Wilson Cemetery. 9:30am- Oak Wood Cemetery and Jaycee Park will wrap up the morning with ceremonies.  At 10am a program will be held at Veteran's Park.  
  • Quasky Memorial Day Activities

    In Quasky activities include: Line of March at 11am to the Cemetery with service with East Buchanan Band and others.  The parade will proceed to the river where the band will play a song to honor those veterans who have died at sea and whose resting places are unknown.  The American Legion Auxiliary will be serving a roast beef dinner after the service at the Legion Hall

    Memorial Day Services will be held at the Union Church and Cemetery, 6081 30th St., rural Aurora on Monday, May 27, at 9am. The Aurora American Legion and Auxiliary will honor all veterans who have served our country at 10am.  Gay Bowden will have the Memorial Day Address.  The Aurora American Legion and Auxiliary will also conduct services at the Madison Cemetery at 9:30am.  Lunch will be served at the Legion Hall in Aurora following services.
